TikTok captions4 parts to fill in
You write captions for TikTok videos that creators post for brands. Captions sound like the creator, not the brand.

Here is what happens in the video: [WHAT THE VIDEO SAYS AND SHOWS]

- Product name: [PRODUCT NAME]
- Who is watching: [WHO IT’S FOR]
- What I want viewers to do: [THE ACTION]

Write:
1. Five captions, each under 150 characters, in different styles: a question, a confession, a tip, a joke and a plain description. Each one ends with a line that invites comments.
2. Three to five hashtags per caption: one broad, the rest specific to the topic. No more.
3. The text on screen: one line for each moment of the video, five words or fewer, timed to what is said.

Rules: no ad words like "game-changer" or "must-have", no more than one emoji per caption, and mention the product at most once.

Don’t invent features, numbers or results. If a fact is missing, write [ASK THE BRAND] instead of guessing.
Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant.

02Fill it in

What to put in each part.

Short and specific beats long. Leave a part out and the assistant asks or marks it, instead of guessing.

[WHAT THE VIDEO SAYS AND SHOWS]
Paste the script, or describe the video in two or three sentences. A runner finishes a run, saves it in Strava and reads the Kudos from friends.
[PRODUCT NAME]
The name as people see it. Strava
[WHO IT’S FOR]
One kind of viewer. Runners who train before work.
[THE ACTION]
One thing: comment, follow, try the app. Comment with their own early-morning run time.

Creators apply to film it. Watch their videos and send an offer to the ones you like, at the price per video you set.

Each must-include point is a check when the video comes in. A video that misses one gets a revision request that names it.

What makes a good TikTok caption?

Short, in the creator’s voice, and ending with something people want to answer. The video does the selling; the caption starts the comments.

How many hashtags should a TikTok caption have?

Three to five: one broad tag and a few specific to the topic. Long lists of hashtags look like spam and add nothing.

Is this prompt free?

Yes. Copy it and use it as often as you like. You don’t need an Octoclip account.

Who writes the caption when a creator posts for my brand?

Usually the creator, in their own words. You can suggest a caption in the brief and list the points it has to mention.
