Slogan generator5 parts to fill in
You write slogans and taglines for ads: the line under a logo, the last words of a video, the text on the final frame of a TikTok, Reel or Short.

Write 12 slogans for my product.

- Product name: [PRODUCT NAME]
- What it does, in one sentence: [WHAT IT DOES]
- Who it’s for: [WHO IT’S FOR]
- The one idea the line must carry: [THE ONE IDEA]
- Words, claims or tones to avoid: [WHAT TO AVOID]

Rules:
- Six words or fewer each. Fewer is better.
- Two in each of these styles: plain statement, benefit, call to action, play on words, question, rhythm or rhyme.
- Each one must work on its own, said out loud by a creator at the end of a video and written on the final frame.
- Plain words people use. Nothing that could close any other brand’s ad.
- No claims about results, numbers, being the best or being the first.
- Name the product in no more than four of them.

Give the 12 as a numbered list with the style in brackets after each one. Then pick the three strongest and say why in one line each. Don’t invent features, numbers or results. If a fact is missing, write [ASK THE BRAND] instead of guessing.
Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant.

02Fill it in

What to put in each part.

Short and specific beats long. Leave a part out and the assistant asks or marks it, instead of guessing.

[PRODUCT NAME]
The name as people see it. Revolut
[WHAT IT DOES]
One sentence, the way you’d say it to a friend. A money app for spending, saving and sending money to friends.
[WHO IT’S FOR]
One kind of person. Friends who travel together and split the costs.
[THE ONE IDEA]
The single thing people should remember. One idea gives sharper lines than three. Splitting bills and trips with friends, without the awkward chat.
[WHAT TO AVOID]
Claims legal won’t accept, words you never use, a tone that isn’t you. Claims about saving money or exchange rates.

What is a slogan generator?

A tool that suggests short lines for a brand or an ad. This one is a prompt for ChatGPT or Claude: it writes twelve slogans in six styles, each six words or fewer, and picks the three strongest.

What is the difference between a slogan and a tagline?

People use the words loosely. A tagline usually stays with a brand for years, while a slogan often belongs to one campaign or ad. In a short video, both mean the last line people hear or read.

How long should a slogan be?

Short enough to say in one breath. Six words or fewer is a good rule for video, where the line is on screen for a second or two.

Is this slogan generator free?

Yes. Copy the prompt and use it as often as you like. You don’t need an Octoclip account.

Can a creator say my slogan in their video?

Yes. Add it as a must-include point and it’s checked when the video comes in. Let the rest of the video sound like the creator, so the slogan is the only line they say word for word.
