01In short

What is TikTok Creator Marketplace?

TikTok Creator Marketplace was TikTok’s official platform for brands to find creators and run paid collaborations. In 2025 it became part of TikTok One, TikTok’s hub for creator marketing, and the standalone marketplace closed on 1 April 2025. Brands now search for creators, invite them and manage campaigns inside TikTok One.

Octoclip is
A marketplace where brands post one job and creators apply, for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Octoclip is not
A TikTok product, an agency or a pay-per-view clipping tool.

02The guide

How to find TikTok creators for your brand.

Five steps that work in TikTok One, on Octoclip or on your own.

  1. Decide whose account the video goes on

A post on the creator’s account reaches their audience. A video file you post yourself, or run as an ad, needs no audience at all. Pick one before you search.

  2. Write the brief before you search

The points every video must show, the dates and the price. A clear brief makes the right creators easier to spot. See UGC examples for formats.

Anatomy of a UGC ad brief

Five parts a creator can film from.

    1. 1
One momentThe single thing the ad shows, clear in ten seconds.
    2. 2
The opening lineHow the video starts. The rest of the wording is the creator’s.
    3. 3
Must-include pointsWhat has to be on screen. Each video is checked against them.
    4. 4
What to avoidAnything the video must not show or say.
    5. 5
Price per videoYou set it, and creators see it before they apply.
An example brief for an app install ad. On Octoclip every job has a price per video and at least two must-include points.
  3. Look at recent videos, not only followers

Engagement and recent work say more than a follower count. The engagement rate calculator checks a profile in seconds.

  4. Agree the rights for ads

If you want to boost the post, agree Spark Ads in the brief. The Spark Ads guide explains the ad code.

  5. Hire several creators and keep the best

Several creators on one brief show you which opening works. Hire those creators again for the next job.

03Two ways to work

Creator posts or UGC videos: which do you need?

Each job is one type. You set the price per video, and creators see it before they apply.

Creator post

The creator publishes on their own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, to their own audience. You get the live post to repost and run as an ad.

UGC video

07Avoid these

Four mistakes when hiring TikTok creators.

  • Choosing by followers alone

A large audience does not mean a good video for your product. Watch the creator’s last ten videos first.

  • Forgetting the ad rights

Boosting a creator’s post needs their approval. Put Spark Ads in the brief, not after the video is live. See the UGC contract template.

  • Paying for views

Views depend on the algorithm. A fixed price per approved video keeps the cost known.

  • Only looking on TikTok

The same video can run as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Ask for it in the brief.

Does TikTok Creator Marketplace still exist?

Not as a separate site. TikTok moved the Creator Marketplace into TikTok One, its hub for creator marketing, and the standalone marketplace closed on 1 April 2025. Its address now leads to TikTok One.

What is TikTok One?

TikTok One is TikTok’s platform for brands working with creators. It brings together creator search, collaborations, agency partners and creative tools in one place, and brands sign in with their TikTok for Business account.

Who can join TikTok One as a creator?

TikTok sets the rules, such as age, account standing and audience size, and they differ by country. Check TikTok’s own help pages for the current requirements where you live.

Is there an alternative to TikTok Creator Marketplace?

Yes. On Octoclip you post one job and creators apply, for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You set a fixed price per video and pay only when you hire. See TikTok influencer marketing for the other options.

Do I need creators with many followers?

Only for posts on the creator’s account. For UGC videos you post or run as ads yourself, followers don’t count. See micro influencers for smaller creators.

Can I run creators’ videos as Spark Ads?

Yes. The contract both sides accept lets you use approved content in paid ads, including Spark Ads and partnership ads. Ask for the ad code or approval in your brief so the creator knows before they apply.

How much does it cost on Octoclip?

Posting a job, reviewing applicants and sending offers are free. You set a fixed price per video and pay only when a creator accepts your offer. The full amount is shown before you send the offer.

Is Octoclip an agency?

No. You choose and hire creators directly. Octoclip runs the jobs, contracts, approvals and payments in between.

Is Octoclip part of TikTok?

No. Octoclip is an independent marketplace. It is not made, endorsed or run by TikTok.

Will TikTok creators get me more views?

Nobody can promise that for your product. Octoclip does not sell or guarantee downloads, installs or views. You pay a fixed price for each approved video.

What if a video doesn’t follow the brief?

You can ask for one revision per video, pointing to the must-include point it missed. The creator has 3 days to resubmit. If you don’t review a video within 5 days, it is approved.
