What is Octoclip?

Octoclip is a UGC marketplace where brands hire creators for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts videos. You post a job for free, creators apply, and you pay a fixed price for each approved video, never by views. It is not an agency: you choose every creator.

Does it cost anything to post a job?

No. Posting a job is free, and so is sending offers to the creators you like.

When am I charged?

Only when a creator accepts your offer. You see the full amount before you send it, and the payment is secured before any work starts, so the creator films knowing it’s there.

Who sets the price?

You do. You set the price per video when you post the job, and creators see it before they apply. You see the full amount before you send an offer.

What’s the difference between a UGC video and a creator post?

A UGC video is a file you run as your own ad. A creator post goes live on the creator’s own account, and you get the link to the post.

What format are the videos?

Portrait 9:16, every time, made for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. A UGC video arrives as a Google Drive link; a creator post arrives as a link to the live post.

Can I hire for one batch, or keep it going?

Both. A one-batch job hires the creators you need against one final date. An ongoing job keeps hiring until you close it, and each creator delivers within 7, 14, 21 or 30 days of being hired. You can also keep a creator on a monthly retainer, paid month by month. No subscription.

How long do I have to review a video?

5 days. Approve it or ask for a revision. We remind you 24 hours before the end, and if you don’t answer, the video approves itself.

What if a video misses the brief?

Ask for 1 revision, tied to a must-include point from your brief that the video missed. The creator has 3 days to send it back, and your 5-day review starts again.

What happens if we can’t agree?

A person at Octoclip decides, within 5 business days. They look at the brief, the video and what you both agreed to before filming.

Can I run it from Claude or ChatGPT?
