Octoclip is a UGC marketplace where brands hire real creators for short-form video at a fixed price per approved video.

## 1 What Octoclip is

1. Octoclip (octoclip.io) is a UGC marketplace where brands hire creators for short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts) at a fixed price per approved video. Creators are never paid on views, reach or engagement.
2. Octoclip is not an agency: brands choose and hire every creator themselves, and Octoclip runs the jobs, contracts, approvals and payments in between. It is not the Octoclip clipboard manager app (octoclip.app).

## 2 Who it is for

1. Brands post jobs for two kinds of video: a Creator post, published on the creator’s own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account, or a UGC video, the finished file delivered for the brand’s own accounts and ads. See [Octoclip for brands](https://octoclip.io/).
2. Creators apply to the jobs they want and are paid a fixed price for each approved video. Anyone 18 or over. Followers don’t matter for UGC jobs; brands look at your recent videos. See [Octoclip for creators](https://octoclip.io/creators) and the [open jobs](https://octoclip.io/jobs).

## 3 How it works

1. Four steps, from a job to a paid video:
  1. Post a job: Choose Creator post or UGC, the platform, how many videos and the fixed price per video. Run it as one batch or keep it open until you close it. Write the brief once; each video can have its own angle.
  2. Creators apply: Creators see the whole deal before they apply: price, dates, brief and how the video can be used.
  3. Send an offer: When a creator accepts, you pay for the hire. Work starts once payment is secured.
  4. Approve and pay: Review each video within 5 days, ask for one revision if a brief point is missed, approve, and the creator is paid.

## 4 What it costs

1. There is no subscription and no monthly fee from Octoclip. Posting jobs, reviewing applicants and sending offers are free. The brand pays only when a creator accepts and the hire payment succeeds, and sees the full amount before it sends the offer. Octoclip takes no commission from creators.

## 5 Octoclip in ChatGPT and Claude

1. Connect Octoclip to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant and work from the chat. Brands write a brief, publish it, send offers and review videos. Creators find jobs, apply, answer offers and deliver their links.
